I made it in the Top 10!

I know, I know...I'm horrible at keeping up with this blog thing!  The internet is a job in itself when you're a photographer.  BUT....I had to share this!  My image was chosen as one of the top 10 in a contest I entered over the 4th of July holiday!  It was a Red, White and Blue theme.  I am completely honored that I was mentioned, much less had one of my images chosen!!  I'm surrounded by some amazing talent in this contest so I'm humbled to be in the top 10.  The image is of my daughters, and it actually was taken on the 4th of July.  They were all dressed up in their little tutu outfits and asked, "Mom, can we get our picture made?"  So on the way to a family BBQ, my husband and I stopped on a road near our house that I'm completely in love with because of these GIANT Oak trees that line each side.  The sun was shining perfectly through their massive branches and my daughters decided to give each other a big hug for the camera!  To me, it's a priceless image!  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, and I hope you enjoy all of the other images that were chosen as well!  Follow the link to the blog post to check it out!!  Have a happy day!!
